Fellowship in Radiology & Imaging

Fellowship in Radiology & Imaging program is to provide specialized training in various subspecialties of radiology to produce competency in the field of diagnostic and interventional Radiology, by obtaining specialized training in institutions that have specialized subspecialty departments with a tertiary level care. The subspecialty training will be over a stipulated period of one year. Hence, these specialists will be capable of providing subsequent high-quality services in the community as well as clinical tertiary care centers. They shall recognize the health needs of the community and carry out professional obligations ethically, keeping he objectives of the Indian College of Radiology and Imaging.

Objectives:

1.To Provide subspecialty diagnostic and Interventional radiology services with dedication, compassion and excellence.

2.All subspecialty groups of ICRI will be involved in creating the curriculum and conducting the entry & exit exam.

3.Fellow will demonstrate empathy and humane approach towards patients & their families.

4.Fellow will be trained and utilize the essential radiology diagnostic and interventional equipment; and keep abreast with advances in radiology and imaging technology.

5.Fellow will be able to seek and analyze new literature and information on the radiology sub-specialty under training, update concepts, and practice evidence-based medicine. Fellow will be able to demonstrate adequate managerial skills.

6.Fellow will participate in the seminars, CME, conferences and radiology research associated work.
